Let’s Make A Song!
Kids Hiphop Workshop with Kosmic T

Join hiphop artist Kosmic T and his amazing assistant on a magical adventure into the world of hiphop, rhythm, and music. Whether your child has previous music experience, or is brand-new, together we will learn what it takes to go from a blank slate to a fully recorded, 100% unique hiphop song from scratch!

Kosmic T (Tanin Shunter) is a conscious hiphop artist and outdoor youth educator who has lived in the Kootenays for over 35 years.
He has been offering music workshops in the Columbia Basin area for the last 10 years, along with running his own outdoor nature programs as founder of Kootenay Rites of Passage.

He is honoured and stoked to be supporting youth in discovering more of their voice, talents, and gifts through his interactive hiphop music worokshops – helping the next generation access more of their innate creativity, wisdom, and passion.

A special thanks to Salmo Secondary School for being willing to host this program, and also the Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance and the West Kookenay Arts Council for supporting this event with a grant which has made this possible for the Salmo community.
